Abdulahi Consulting (AC) is an agile humanitarian and development consultancy based in Dublin, Ireland. We support clients in the global South focusing on Education, Durable solutions, research and programme management, Proposal writing and training.

Our story

Established and operational since 2018, we are keen to maka a difference in the humanitarian and development consultancy space.

Our Founder

Our CEO and Founder is cultured humanitarian professional with more than fifteen years of technical experience in education and durable solutions. He impacted communities in disaster and conflict contexts in more than 10 countries including Ireland and Ukraine response (Poland, Romania, Moldova, Sudan X2, Somalia, Afghanistan, Libya, Ireland, Mozambique and Lebanon – remote support. With Master in refugee integration from Dublin City University (DCU) and a career in the humanitarian space, he has the acumen and technical and managerial skills in prorgamme development, education in emergencies, youth work and people management skills. He led and managed highly impactul programms, emerencies, resilience building initiatives and consultancies through his association with the Norwegian Refugee Council(NRC), Plan International, IOM, INEE and INEW in various contexts. Abdulahi lead our all consultancy work, managing key relationships, roster members and exucution of consutlancy work at Abdulahi Consulting. he is keen learner with open mind.

Education and Youth Thematic Area

Our Education and Youth thematic areas addresses key work in education focusing on EiE and Youth Work. we support clients in this space to inform and provide rigorous technical work in this domain.

Education in Emergencies

Our expertise education in emergencies (EiE), teacher training, psychosocial support (PSS) and school improvements. Community based education, NFE and school needs assesments.

Youth Programming

We offer livelihoods vocational training, TVET and employment opportunities and ERASMUS + in Ireland. we also provide consultancy around Marketable skills and provision of services in TVET centers.

Durable Solutions Thematic Area

We capacitate clients in understanding the economic, cultural and legal dynamics of local integration through the lense of safety, livelihoods and cultural dynamics. our reseach focus on the area based approach to durable solutions, advancing a shared understanding and service delivery

Refugee Resetllement

Our Expert services in refugee and Asylum seekers resettlement work involves advising clients on the best practises and approaches to refugee resettlement including cultural orientation, service delivery and rights based approaches to resettlement inline with international standards. in Ireland, we focus on international protection applicants and programme refugees helping clients develop tools and adopt strategies to resettlement.

Local Integration

We capacitate and add our expert knowledge in areas of local integration, area-based localisation and in the context of Ireland resettlement of refugees, asylum seekers and international protection applicants
