Peace in the Middle East is in the best interest of Everyone

The middle East  is on the brink.

The events of the past few days have been worrying. Iran attacked Israel. Isreal vowed retaliation, there is a fear of further escalation if Israel responds. this time the stakes are higher and we are in unchartered territory here, there is a very real possibility of a regional war between Israel and Iran with Houtis, Hizbollah, Syria and Iraq in the mix.

Middle East was troubled region for a very long time, this is the worst it can get for a very long period of time with real possibility of a prolonged and costly war. After saturdays attach, its very clear that we are on the brink. There are calls for restraint, but there are also calls for escalation and revenge, things can get messy in no time and the whole world is holdings its breath. Many are asking how on earth did we come to this dangerous place.

Palestine crisis

Since october 7th, atleast 33,000 palestinians including 14,000 children were killed with no prospect of ceasfire after 7 months of relentless bombardment of Gaza by Israel.

At Abdulahi Consulting, we have come to realisation  that bad politics is the primary cause of these suffering across the world's emergency and humanitarian situations, from the IDP camps in Sudan to the cramped and bombed out GAZA, we are at the mercy of out of touch politicians who do not have our best interest.

Meanwhile In Gaza...

As the violence in the Middle East continues to escalate, it is deeply troubling to see the devastating impact it is having on innocent lives. Israel's aggressive actions have resulted in the deaths of more than 33,000 people, and the attacks on foreign soil only serve to exacerbate the situation further. I urge all parties involved to exercise restraint and prioritise the safety and well-being of civilians. Specifically, I call on Israel to immediately cease fire and the US and EU to work towards finding a peaceful resolution to the conflict. It is crucial for Israel to take a step back and consider the human cost of its actions.

Similarly, I urge Iran and other involved parties to show restraint and de-escalate the situation to prevent further loss of lives and destruction. The cycle of violence in the Middle East has gone on for far too long, and it is imperative that all parties come together to seek a sustainable and peaceful solution. Let's stand united in calling for an end to the bloodshed and for dialogue and diplomacy to prevail.
