Abdulahi Consulting is a research-intensive consultancy. We actively seek new evidence, analyse data and conduct original research on Education in emergencies (EiE) and Durable Solutions initiative. Through research we inform clients programs, evaluate process, addresses societal challenges, and drives meaningful change.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Our research encompasses the key Monitoring, evaluation and learning (MERL) sub-sections that deals with high quality data collection, analysis and reporting contributing to impact. Our monitoring and evaluation services also include third-party monitoring, impact evaluations, baseline survey and endline line evaluations.We employ quality assurance, effective data collection, analysis and reporting in compliance with programme scope and the specific TOR of the client(s)
We conduct third party monitoring services to clients, reviewing programmes and project and come up with implementable recommendations. Our TPM services are on project basis and depend on client needs, our TPM focus on education and DS projects.
We conduct impact assessments including baseline and endline surveys to collect data and evident and contribute to effective programming of our clients. We use OECD DAC criteria when assessing donor funded impact evaluations and baseline surveys when needed.
Research and learning
Abdulahi Consulting is a research-driven consultancy dedicated to providing clients with insightful analysis through our Education and Durable Solutions initiatives. We address societal challenges, initiate meaningful change, and deliver tailored research to meet the unique needs of each client. We offer original and well curated research services that offer real solutions to client’s problems and address and inform societal changes. While our research focuses on durable solutions, Youth and Livelihoods and Education in Emergencies (EiE), we also offer solutions in other domains within the humanitarian and development spaces such as cross cutting issues including Gender and protection from Violence. Our commissioned research also focuses on issues of importance to societies, policy makers, donor and government entities
Commissioned Research
Based on client needs, we conduct commissioned research on project basis. We do not set the agenda, but implement work commissioned by a third party.
Original Research on DS and EiE and Youth
We set the agenda and tone of key topics on durable solutions, Education in emergencies and youth work. Our goal is to contribute to better data and information and facilitate decision-making with evidence-based programming.
Publications
We publish original research or secondary data/information collected to inform and advise. We publish research reports and contribute to resources in our focus areas.
